Please read our terms and conditions carefully before booking. If you require any additional information please contact us directly.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Your right to cancel
Once you have paid a deposit you will be liable for the full cost of the trip irrespective of if you turn up or not. We are reasonable and will exercise discretion on a case by case basis.
If the skipper cancels
Although we never want to cancel a trip, sometimes the weather cancels it for us! The skipper is continually assessing weather conditions and if he feels that conditions are such as to make it unsafe to set out to Sea he will advise you. In the event that we do have to cancel a trip you will be offered the chance to reschedule your booking for another day.
Tackle/Equipment Hire
We carry a small number of rods and reels just incase one of our anglers has a failure of their own equipment and also carry an additional 14 sets of hire tackle available to rent for the day at £10/set. We also carry an extensive inventory of terminal tackle suitable for all fishing that we do so if you find yourself short on the day items such as lures, swivels, booms, leader, weights etc. can be purchased onboard.
Personal Equipment Liability
Brigand Charters accepts no liability for any personal belongings or equipment that is bought onto the boat and as such individuals do so at their own risk. When on the boat ensure that you pay the same respect to other anglers equipment as you would to your own as you will be liable for any damaged to other anglers equipment caused by yourself.
Drugs & Alcohol
The safety of the crew and guests is our number 1 priority and we take a zero tolerance stance on illegal drugs on the boat. If anyone is found to be in possession of or under the influence of drugs then the boat will be immediately returned to port and the police informed. The offending individual(s) will be liable for the full cost of the charter for the day as a result.
We are not a “dry” boat, however any alcohol consumption is to be kept to a reasonable level. If at any point the skipper considers that someone is too drunk to safely fish, then that individual will be asked to stop fishing for the safety of others. In the event that the trip has to return to port early due to excessive alcohol, the individual(s) will be liable for the cost of the charter for the day. You will always be treated with respect when you book with us, we ask that you afford both our crew and your fellow anglers the same courtesy.
